In the year 2014, under this scheme, Rs 45,000 was provided for housing assistance, after which the amount was raised to 70 thousand. So now the amount has been increased to 1.20 lakh instead of 70 thousand. About 20,000 families in the state will be provided this assistance. The Ministry of Women and Child Development of Gujarat has launched a scheme called Kunwarbai Nu Mameru Yojana. However, this scheme has been started specifically for the welfare of Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes girls. Today we will tell you how girls from Gujarat can apply and benefit from this scheme.

Kunverbainu Mameru (Assistance to married daughters) 2020. 

Eligibility Criteria 

  • Annual Income Limit for Rural Areas Rs. 1,20,000/- 

  • Annual Income Limit for Urban Areas Rs. 1,50,000/- 
Only one girl of a Family can get this benefit. 

Assistance Criteria 

Financial Assistance of Rs. 10,000/- for Mameru, which is given by cheque, in the name of a girl only.

Under the aegis of the National Mission on Himalayan Studies (Implemented by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change), the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Gandhinagar is implementing the project – “Implementing Bamboo-based Entrepreneurship & Livelihood Development Programme in Tripura”, which will be a socio-economic experiment-based Action Research project, in the period 2018-19. The geographical location for this pilot-mode implementation is in undivided West Tripura district (Now West Tripura, Khowai & Sepahijala Districts).
1. EDII is inviting applications from experts, experienced resource persons, institutions for empanelment under the following categories:


Position 1) Empanelment of Business Development Services Providers or BDSPs (Marketing, Branding, Legal, Design, Bamboo Technology, IPR)


Terms:

Individual persons and institutions (recognised under law) are both welcome to register.

The cadre of BDSPs will act as an important link in connecting the entrepreneur community with national and international business ecosystem

They will support the project through their technical expertise and will be linked to the community for future sustainability of their availability even after the completion of the project.

They will not be deemed to be employees of EDII.

Qualifications:

Relevant educational qualifications (marketing, legal, design, bamboo technology)

Professional experience – more than 5 years.

Experience in business laws: SPC (Section 8 Company formation), GI registration, IPR law, Tax law, DPR preparation.

Experience in marketing: creating/consulting towards forming of marketing consortium – logistics, procurement, and sales.

Experience in bamboo technology innovation and bamboo design.

Experience in creating logo and brand building

Position 2) Empanelment of Expert/Advisor for consulting EDII towards developing EDP prototype (pro bono publico):

Terms:

The expert/advisor will help EDII in developing its flagship EDP programme and customizing the same for operationalizing in the project area.

Involved in guiding EDII Tripura field team for implementing the training modules, awareness generation, and community engagement.

Involved in developing study materials for the EDP module in English, and local vernacular.

The period of advisory support will not exceed 2 months in total.

S/he will be engaged on pro bono publico basis and will be entitled to an honorarium and eligible expenses on reimbursement basis as will be deemed appropriate.

Qualifications:

The expert/advisor needs to have substantial experience in EDP programme development and implementing them both nationally and internationally. Ideally, s/he needs to be a certified trainer from reputed international organisations (e.g. International Labour Organisation, etc)

S/he should have significant domain knowledge of the EDP ecosystem in India and especially in the North East Region.

Prior experience of engagement with EDII will be added qualification.

Position 3) Empanelment of EDP Trainers

Terms:

EDII will provide the training of these trainers (ToT)

They will conduct the EDP trainings during the course of the project

The cadre of trainers thus created will remain embedded in the local community and will act as independent trainers for the community even after the completion of the project.

They will not be deemed to be employees of EDII.

Experience in entrepreneurship development and related training.

Preference will be given to local EDP trainers.

Experience of community engagement.

Knowledge of local languages (Bengali, Hindi, Kokborok) besides English

The Terms and Conditions may be suitably modified depending on the ground level requirements without notice and without bias and decisions will be EDII’s only.

 So far, there have been a total of 4515 cases of corona virus reported worldwide. Only 4409 of them are in China. The Foreign Ministry is unaware of the number of Indians trapped in the heavily impacted Wuhan city. However, the Air India Jumbo Jet has been designed to get them out of there. They are now just waiting for an order from the government. In reality there are over 600 Indians studying in Wuhan. But most of the Indians came to India because of the Christmas holiday. About 250 to 300 Indian students are still suspected of being trapped in China. A foreign ministry official has said that not every Indian going to China registers in the Indian Consulate. So in these circumstances it is difficult to get their exact figure.

Information is being obtained by taking the phones of each of the students. The United States is about to airlift its citizens trapped in Wuhan today by special plane. Siddi Pandya, who returned from China, said on Monday that I returned from China on January 12 to China. It was reported on 16-17 that the Corona virus was spread. The candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to open savings account in post office:-

Any Individual Adult.
Minors above the age of 10 years can apply.
Any guardian can open this account on the behalf of a minor.
Any Person with unsound mind is also permissible to open his savings account.
Moreover, there is also a facility to open joint account by 2 or 3 individuals having equal share.
In this Post Office Savings Scheme – group accounts, institutional accounts, security deposit accounts and Official capacity accounts are not allowed.

Post Office Savings Account Withdrawal – There is no lock in or maturity period in this savings scheme, so any individual can withdraw his money anytime. However, the person has to maintain minimum balance of Rs. 50 (for non-cheque facility account) and Rs. 500 (for cheque facility account).

All the subscribers can avail various benefits of this type of saving account like Cheque Facility, ATM / Debit Card:-
Cheque Facility – Cheque book is available at the time of opening of account. For this candidates have to make an initial deposit of Rs. 500. Moreover, all the existing account holders can also avail the cheque book facility. Hence, they have to maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 500 in their account and make a request for check book issuance.

Post Office ATM Card / Debit Card – All those subscribers maintaining the minimum balance in their saving account are entitled to get Post Office ATM Card through CBS Post Offices.

Minor Accounts – Minors below 10 years can also open their Post Office Saving Account in their name. However, the rights to operate the account still remain available to the parents. Minors with 10 years or above age can operate their account on their own.

To keep savings account active, it is necessary to make at-least 1 transaction in 3 financial years.
